Two-time Academy Award® winner KEVIN SPACEY, Olivier Award winner EVE BEST and Golden Globe nominee COLM MEANEY reprise their acclaimed performances in The Old Vic production of Eugene O'Neill’s A Moon For The Misbegotten at Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre for 84 PERFORMANCES ONLY!
Directing the production is Olivier Award-winner HOWARD DAVIES, who last teamed with Mr. Spacey on the 1999 hit Broadway production of O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh and with Ms. Best on 2003's Mourning Becomes Electra at the National Theatre in London.
In A Moon For The Misbegotten, the shy Josie Hogan (Ms. Best) and her conniving father Phil (Mr. Meaney) struggle to make ends meet on the ramshackle Connecticut farm they've leased from the tormented and alcoholic Jim Tyrone (Mr. Spacey). Tyrone finds unexpected comfort in Josie's arms as these two lost souls join under a moonlit sky in O’Neill’s timeless portrait of love and redemption.
