    We thought it was excellent - - it's best if you're the kind of theatre-goer who hated "Cats."

    Be aware, though, that the original cast has moved on
    "Tony Award winner John Glover will replace Bob Martin as Man in Chair in the award-winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone in April. No specific date has been announced for Glover's first performance or Martin's exit. Martin is leaving the musical, which he co-wrote, to recreate the role of Man in Chair in the show's London production, which begins previews May 14 at the Novello Theatre."

    "Three new ladies will join the Broadway run of The Drowsy Chaperone. On April 17th Janine LaManna will join the musical as Janet Van DeGraaff. She will replace Sutton Foster. LaManna will play the role for just over three months before Mara Davi takes her place on July 31st.
    Georgia Engel is also exiting the musical. JoAnne Worley will take over the role of Mrs. Tottendale on April 17th.
    The Drowsy Chaperone currently stars Jonathan Crombie as Man in Chair, Sutton Foster as Janet Van De Graaff, Lenny Wolpe as Feldzieg, Beth Leavel as The Drowsy Chaperone, Troy Britton Johnson as Robert Martin, Jennifer Smith as Kitty, Danny Burstein as Aldolpho, Garth Kravits as Gangster #2, Jason Kravits as Gangster #1, Georgia Engel as Mrs. Tottendale, Peter Bartlett as Underling, Eddie Korbich as George, and Kecia Lewis-Evans as Trix. John Glover will take over the role of Man in Chair on April 17th."
