  • Nantucket Mariner House Dilema

I have a one bedroom, Nantucket Town, Mariner House unit at the end of June. I can't go this year, too many vacations in the pot as it stands now.

I'm not sure what kind of trading power I would get with this and if an Independent would take it. I've never deposited it. Thought of renting it out via Nantucket Accommodations.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

I know with II, anything inside of 60 days only wil exchange in the 60 day window....which stinks.
Other independents want 75 days....maybe others will join in here.
I say rental is your best bet.

Thanks and oops, I don't think it trades with II.

I also think renting would be your best option, at this point. At any rate, give it a try. I'm pretty sure that with II, you get the same trading power with 15 days before check-in, as you do with 59 days before check-in.

Oops......I just read that it doesn't trade with II.

        Nevermind!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Trading Places Intl will take it under 60days... you only get 'credit' if it's taken by another... I don't foresee that as a problem.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

I was only using II as an example - I don't know what RCIs policy is....good point about TPI - and they seem to have a nice inventory of 'stuff' to choose from.
Let us know how u make out.

No way would I give it to RCI, too much of a crapshoot on such short notice. Unless you'd like to have an Orlando trip in the bank.

I would definitely try to rent it out. This is a good time to offer a June rental in that area, don't you think?

I'd definitely rent it. I'd rent it from you myself were I not going to be in England then. We were on the island last October, but probably won't make it up there in 2007. I miss it already.
