We just went off the tornado watch- no damage here. Just a few light branches down.

I think the worst is over for us although our watch doesn't end for another 2 or 3 hours. There was a huge downdraft in my friend's neighborhood 3 miles south of here. Lots of trees down and folks without power.

Knocked the weather vane off my house and apparently hit my satellite as we have no signal.

Ahh well it could have been worse....weather vane was 5 feet from my car. I'll take a DirecTV service call over auto damage any day of the week.

As of about 6 PM there were 61,000 homes without power in CT.

I went into the city to see a play. Trees are down all over. If you drive by St Johns Cemetery there are large Branch's broken off and trees down.
