My DH loves Richard Thompson too and would be there if he only knew. We are supposed to have a free overnight in AC that night, so I can't tell him. Keep him in mind for the next time...

I will let you when he is playing in the area, I usually keep a good watch. But this concert he is playing with a band, which is always special as he attracts incredible talent. Ask your DH if he's ever seen his 1000 Years of Popular Music show.... if not, it'd be worth a drive to see it, he's doing it in Connecticut and Boston in Jan/Feb.

Does your DH also like Fairport Convention? Three of the members are doing an acoustic show at Joe's Pub downtown on.... Sunday, June 3rd

I don't think he's seen the Thompson show; I'll ask tomorrow (he's out til the wee hours today).
As for June 3, well too bad as perhaps he would like this but someone has to stay home to be with the kids on Sunday... and I've got first dibs on being out
