I've never been there--haven't heard good things about it generally, but the location is quite close to us. Is it nice there, Frank?

Wacky I had heard good things as far as it being a fun place years back. I have not heard any thing for years. It is close to the game farm and the Spa looks great and cheap to compaired to Gurney's. Night club we will be checking it out.

Frank...I have some bad news for you. The game farm closed recently--within the past year or so. It was a big story here. I remember feeling bad because we never did take the kids to see it.

Never being chased around a large fenced in pen by obnoxious, smelly, spitting llamas that want your handful of pellets is something your children should be forever grateful for.

I'm sure Frank would not have been going there.

I've been there (game farm) twice. I can't say it's a great loss, but it was entertaining for the kids.

I don't need the game farm but it is a loss for the kids.

I checked in late last night went to the night club and the place was hoping. The 1 bedroom I checked into has 2 double beds and is huge! Nicely decorated but I had to leave that room this morning because the wi Fi in that wing did not work. They moved me to the 400 building which was just renovated. WOW! what a shocker I thought the old room in the 500 building was nice this room looks like an Orlando time share touring room. The resort is huge so I have not had a chance to look it over but it looks like every thing is Here. Grounds are very well maintained and there is a lot of grounds.

Tony They have BBQ's so if you want to have a BBQ bring Charcol and lighter fluid and we can get food from some place.

Sounds like fun! In kind of a gross back-to-nature way.

Wow! Great news. It's so close to us, I'm going to keep an eye out for it for a getaway. Thanks for the update!

Wacky why not take a ride up here and in fact pick up Lawren on the way. Tony is coming up at about 11am. Not sure yet about Gophish.
Update on the game farm, some one with a horse farm on the same road as the old game farm is buying up animals. He is going to open up a small zoo of his own by hopefully next year.
It was hot by the pool today but what got me it was not crowded at all. Maybe everyone was inside at the big OTB lounge they have here.

I got a call at 7:30 am that we are flooded at home. Apparently the outside drain was dirty and kept the water from going down. I have about an inch of water in my basement right now and my garage is fully flooded.

Do I go home? I am 3 hours away and by the time I pack up and leave it will be 5 hours unless I left every thing in the room and came back tonight. I told my son what to do, He took the drain cover off and the water started going away in the yard. He got to the shop vac and is starting to vacuum it up.

                          Ugh!!! That's too bad.

Frank, it's pouring by me. Thunder/lighting, and major down pours. I'm getting flooding, too. DH is vacuuming up the basement, right now.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Sounds like your son has it under control. Great kid! I would wait to get the update from him. Do you have a dehumidifier down there?

Frank, he's doing what you would do anyway. VERY impressive, my son sure wouldn't do that. Our yard has a lake in it, too, I've been up since 4:30 with the thunder/lightning. It seems to be letting up now, though, I don't think there's much point in your heading back.

Rainy Day Here in Jamestown Newport Rhode Island

                                Big Frank

Hope you new car was not in your flooded out garage!

It rained here in Rhode Island most of the afternoon. But,
It didn`t stop anyone at Newport Overlook. The landscape
contractors were out in rain gear mowing and weed eating.

Some of the guests were even out in the lite rain
late this afternoon enjoying the outdoor hot tub.

Have a great time at Frair Tuck
