  • Broadway vacation

I have never been to New York but would love to do a broadway vacation. Are there any timeshares that would be good to trade into that put me close to the broadway action? I already know of the Manhattan Club, but I hear it is very hard to get in there because there are so few openings. Any othe suggestions?

The Manhattan Club would be your best bet. There is also a Hilton, but that's probably even harder to get into.

It's possible to rent some nights at the Manhattan Club for around $200.00 a night. Dorectly from the Manhattan Cluc. ( I think) It depends on when you are planning on visiting.

BTW, you can also check Redweek.com. I've seen some great rental prices for the Manhattan Club.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

      Manhattan Club via points

You will have a much easier time getting into the Manhattan Club with points, especially if you do not need a full week. If you plan out at the ten month window, there is usually availability for 3 or 4 night stays.

If your looking to save money just for a few nights stay then try using Priceline. Another option is to book a hotel in Queens or Brooklyn and take the subway into the city.

There are MC weeks for June/July 2008 in RCI now.....but you need a good trader to see them.

              How about the Met

Try the Metropolitan Opera in Lincoln Center. Better than B'way. The singers don't use microphones(in huge house) and the orchestra has about 60 or more musicians(the best in the world).

I'm not a huge fan of opera. I enjoy musicals much more.

I like the idea of staying in queens and taking the subway in. Unfortunately I don't know of any time shares in Queens. So I may just need to do the hotel thing (Which I must admit sounds very undesireable to me now that my eyes are open to the world of timesharing).

Do you know if an Orange Lake, Orlando, Week 27, North Village TS is good enough to see the Manhattan Club?
