Hello all. I just wanted to give an update on my NYC trip. I checked in to the MC last night and was given room 2411, a unit that I had requested. It is a 710' beautiful corner unit with a view of Central Park and all I can say is "WOW!"
We ate dinner at a Greek restaurant just around the corner and had a very good meal. I don't remember the exact name (Myklovos?) but it was chosen as best Greek restaurant by some writer.
Next we went to see SPAMALOT with tickets we had purchased months ago. We noticed, however, that they had them listed at 50% at the TKTS booth so that may have been a less expensive way to go. The Shubert Theater is small so I don't think that there would really be a bad seat in the house. The show was typical Monty Python hilarious.
Today it is off to Central Park, the Sony Technology Center and Serendipity (frozen hot chocolate) with the kids. I will try to update you all later when I get a chance.
Also, I had mentioned to Avery that I might have a free night or two (maybe Mon. Tues. or Wed.) but at this point I don't know if I could leave it's so nice.
If I do though, I will send out a group email to those who were kind enough to chat with me before I left.
