You could go inside when we went last year, too. They did a ton of renovations on Lucy about 20 years ago--she had fallen on hard times before that and then they raised funds for a full restoration.

I had always wanted to go, ever since I saw Lucy on NJ PBS back in the 1970s, but we just never got there. I was so thrilled to finally see Lucy, the other tourists thought I was a complete nut job. But honestly, it is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. And the sweatshirts make great gifts!

Thanks for all the suggestions! Sounds like we'll have a great time even though we don't gamble. We do go to Vegas once a year for National Finals Rodeo but keep busy with friends, rodeo and Cowboy's Christmas (whoo hoooo--my kind of place!) I get a lot of my Christmas shopping done there. Now, now many people do you know that go to Vegas to do their Christmas shopping? <g>
