That's the speed in the slow lane out here in CA (in non-fire areas at least , in fire areas I think they drive a bit slower so they can see the flames better!).
We have an electronic bridge toll pass that came with a shield sleeve. The instructions were to use the sleeve any time we did not want the electronic system to detect us. We already tested the sleeve and it does work as described.
I think you east coast folks need some masking sleeves. Or a jamming signal. Maybe something that masks the sensor every other time.
