Catching speeding with EZPass

There are sections of the BRP in Yonkers where the posted speedlimit is 45 mph. Doing 70 in a 45 is a problem.

Oh come on now! If you can't safely do twice the posted limit there's way too many cars on the road!

Not if they're all doing twice the speed limit! What is it with these people who actually drive the speed limit? Don't they have anything to do but block traffic?

how about 75 to 80, I wonder if that will trigger it.

That's the speed in the slow lane out here in CA (in non-fire areas at least , in fire areas I think they drive a bit slower so they can see the flames better!).

We have an electronic bridge toll pass that came with a shield sleeve. The instructions were to use the sleeve any time we did not want the electronic system to detect us. We already tested the sleeve and it does work as described.

I think you east coast folks need some masking sleeves. Or a jamming signal. Maybe something that masks the sensor every other time.
