Nice NYC hotel w/kitchen, studios from $177
Beekman Towers, in the 40's on the East Side (1st avenue, near the UN), is running a great winter promo, studios (very comfortable size) with full eat-in kitchens from $177 a night, PLUS a free size upgrade if available.
These are really nice, MUCH nicer than Radio City apts, and the neighborhood is excellent, though a hike from the subways so you'll need more cabs unless you're a big walker.
