Hope Lake Lodge - Anyone Familiar?

RCI 8757 - Hope Lake Lodge and Indoor Waterpark at Greek Peak.

Has anyone ever traded into this place or own there? I wanted to know how it is and how hard it would be to trade into... we were thinking about trying to get a couple of weeks there for a family reunion trip - (thinking the summer of 2009)

I have never traded through RCI and I don't know how long this would take and if it would be possible to get 2 or 3 rooms at the same time...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I saw it on the RCI list last year. I actually called RCI to ask about it and they said it was in pre-sales and would probably not be appearing for any exchanges for a long time to come. I was interested, too, because it's in a nice location.

Amanda, I just went and looked at the website for Hope Lake Lodge. It's actually a quarter-share condo-hotel thing, not a week-by-week timeshare. They're still in pre-sales now. It's not clear what's actually built. I think they just started construction last year.

In that case, I guess my chances are not that great!!

Does anyone have any suggestions of another TS in the area that is Gold Crown or similar? We are looking for something thats fun for the whole family and somwhere in between Ashland Ohio and Long Island, NY.

Uhhh. I don't think there's anything remotely Gold Crown between Ohio and NY. And you need two or three rooms? In the summer? For the same week? I think your only hope is a big place like Shawnee. Sorry to be discouraging.
