MACBETH

In one of Shakespeare's greatest dramas, Patrick Stewart plays Macbeth man utterly determined to obtain the royal crown. Aided by his even more ambitious and ruthless wife, Macbeth murders the king and a comrade only to lose everything by the plays end. In his New York debut, Rupert Goold takes inspiration from Stalins Great Terror and directs this psychological and chilling tragedy in a stark, austere production that places Macbeth in a timeless, nameless, and lawless country.

Please note: These seats may be located in the mezzanine. Two flights of stairs must be negotiated to reach this section; there is no elevator in the theatre. The Box Office will not exchange seat locations under any circumstances.

DH just saw it and said it's very good...but not as good as Patrick Stewart's Tempest. I think he was a little let down because the reviews for Macbeth have been so great.
