If there are no objections, my husband and I would like to join you all, and meet some mutual timeshare lovers.

Please let me know if that is OK with everyone, and how we would know who you all are.
    Angela

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I'm glad you can make it! All this time and this will be my first Timeshare group meeting, except for Frank of course but he lives near my sisters in Queens.

Frank and I both have our mugs in the photo server.

The really big round table there is just behind and to the right of the door at Ollies. Of course I'm assuming that is where they will seat us.

I've got my non-refundable tickets for the Chinatown bus. Now just have to get the final OK from the boss. How do I get from Chinatown to Ollies on the subway?

Spence I do not ride the subways so I have no idea. I myself am wondering if I should leave the car home and take the LIRR into Pen station. Does anyone know if this would be to long a walk from Penn.

Does anyone who is coming smoke Cigars. If so please let me know as I will be giving away cigars to fellow cigar smokers and want to be sure that I bring enough for all that do.

Where does the bus drop you off in Chinatown?

I guess the easiest way would be to walk along Canal Street to Ave of the Americas ( 6TH AVE ) and grab the E, C or A train Uptown to 42ST/ Port Authority. Then walk up 8TH AVE 2 blocks and hang a right on 44th ST and walk just under one block east.

Frank if I had a train line that ran on weekends I'd leave my car home!

Penn is a 10 block walk ( Street blocks, not Avenue blocks, so half-mile ) North up 7th Ave. Or you could grab A, C, E one stop and follow directions for Spence.

I wonder if I should just take the #7 train to 42nd st? Or the LIRR or the car?

been a while since I took the 7.
I think that you would have to take that to Grand Central and switch to the "S", crosstown shuttle to Times SQ.

I never cared for the shuttle.

Thanks I'd found that one and a couple others but for the newbie the translation to streets isn't easy.

No they do not translate well.

You will be closer to the 4,5 & 6 lines with that drop off. I think you'll have to walk west 3 or maybe 4 blocks to A,C,E and Ave of the Americas but worth it as you can avoid the dreaded cross-town shuttle. The station entry is on the Southeast corner. Right beside a bar but danged if I can remember the name of the place.

AND you can wave at my old Headquarters building a block south of 6th Ave station where you will be getting on.
