spent the morning opening vents and unsealing the return. It is air conditioning season all of a sudden. Drove past the bank and the temp was showing 98F.
Typical June temperature is lo-80s.

We had about thirty kids over for our youngest DD's bday party. It was so hot they didn't want to stay outside for my fun activities...and I was afraid they would collapse from heat exhaustion! However, all done now, everyone still okay. Phew.

Not sure the exact temps, but it was HHH at the Pocono track today. Had 2 coolers with frozen water bottles, and plenty of beer. We all got a little sunburn as well. The only saving grace was a stiff breeze coming from the South.
Thank you! She turned nine in late April. Yes, the party was more than a month late. Oh, well, at least I got my act together to do it! We had slime races, a pinata, a duck hunt/rabbit hunt with water guns, hunted "duck eggs," ate chips and brownies and ice cream, and drank LOTS OF LIQUIDS.
Man, it was hot out there. We had several devoted friends who helped supervise the kids, and they were MELTING out there.
