  • Long weekend down the Cape

DW is taking me down the Cape (Cod) for a long weekend for my birthday
in September....Any suggestions for reasonably price lodging at 3 or 4 star type hotel/resort???? I havent tried Priceline yet...Figured I would throw it out to the experts here first.
    Thanks,
    Paul

I am heading there the weekend after Labor Day, prices drop significantly. I did a search for Bed and Breakfasts in the area and did quite well, you should have plenty of reasonably priced places to choose from.

Paul remind me next week and I will call Cape Winds where I own and see what's up pricewise for bonus time.

It really depends on what town you want to be in. One of my favorite places is the Dan'l Webster in Sandwich. The hotel is beautiful; the restaurant excellent..

Hyannis would be the Cape Codder,
            Yarmouth, The Red Jacket Inn,
Harwich/Chatham would be The Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, or the Captain's House Inn
Brewster, definately Ocean Edge, and if not there then The Captain Freeman Innn.
Eastham The Whalewalk Inn and Spa or the Penny House
P'town The Crowne Point Inn and Spa or Carpe Diem Guesthouse

            Enjoy,

            Joy

We chose a B&B in PTown - if you are interested in heading that far out, let me know and I will PM you. Though Carpe Diem that Joy recommends was high on our list, too.
