Now that I found the thread with the details, my wife and I are in for any of the days mentioned 10/25, 10/26, or 11/1. All work for us.

How do we get there via the subway from Manhattan? TIA.

I'd love to see this happen too.

The train to take is the L, the Carnarsie line, which runs along 14th Street in Manhattan before heading into Brooklyn. I was told the stop is Myrtle-Wyckoff and the restaurant is about a half mile away,a pleasant walk or you can take the Q55 bus.

I could do Sun Oct 26th or Sat Nov 1st.

I have now committed to other plans on Sunday 10/26 (visiting MIL in Rockland County ) - so don't count me in for the Sunday crowd that week.

Irene, thanks for the directions from Manhattan. I wasn't sure about the buses. Thanks also for the strolling tip. Since we seldom venture out of Manhattan I have no idea where we're headed!

Rick if you can get to the M train to Metropolitan Ave I can pick you up or get to Woodhaven and Queens Blvd I can get you there as well , Queens Blvd might be better for you.

You're welcome Rick, but I felt silly replying since as far as I can see.... we have no date......
I too would be taking public transport which is how I know how to get there (called the restaurant). Also asked a friend who rides Canarsie line all the time to make sure it's OK.
I'm looking forward to riding it into Brooklyn, always wondered where it went (I used to live at the first stop in Manhattan , aka the last stop before it went to Brooklyn, so have been curious about this for many years).
My friend said it's a nice walk from Myrtle to the restaurant, a lively shopping street.
