There is a huge place near the Samoset resort. We went there but can not recall the name I will look into it when I have a chance but you can call the resort and ask them.

I would be more inclined to go to the local supermarket and place the order with them. I can get Live Maines here in NY for $6 - $7/pound. I'm sure they would cut a deal on that big an order.

Franks suggestion does look reasonable if you don't have a local option.

I will try to find the name of the place I bought from on our way back from Samoset.

I don't like supermarket lobsters nearly as well -- the longer they are in the tanks, the less sweet they are. If you order them from Maine, they will likely be much closer to out of the ocean.

Lawren, your supermarket prices are a lot better than ours!

I can't find the name of the place I used, but if you google [main lobsters shipped] you will get a lot of hits and can compare prices.

Okay, I would just about kill for a maine lobster. We do not have them in Mexico. A big craving now....what a great price on the supermarket ones wow!!!

Oh please...ship them to me instead.....I do not think you can ship to Mexico lobster....ugh..this is the only thing I miss about Mass. well and fried clams and bay scallops....

Sagamore Lobster

I've ordered from this company in the past.. They are located in Hew Hampshire- but fish the same cold waters.. My salesguy was Ian.. This is a small company with only one or two boats- but they'll overnight from the same day's catch..

You can probably google them... Sounds like a really good party! Wish I was your friend!
