Mineral Springs Resort and Spa, Vernon, NJ, GGR or GG1

Does anyone know if there a tangible difference in unit quality or desirability between the two resorts listed in II? The descriptions are lumped together but they are booked as separate codes in II. An old thread OY indicates GG1 units were newer... anyone have more recent info on unit conditions at GGR?

This is the section you want to be in. GGR is the older section and a lot of the units are in need of upgrading. I've been up there a few times and have met the resort manager. She is determined to increase their VEP scores from II and will everything that she can to accommodate you. I can send you her email address if you like.

I really enjoy the resort. I've been up there in both winter and summer and will be more than happy to tell you everything I know.

Thanks, Craig. I had a feeling GG1 was still better, since the available exchanges are mostly in the other one... I'm still trying to talk the kids into it, they aren't too pumped about spending more than a day or two there, but I'll keep an eye out for GG1 for my dates and push them a little if it comes up.
