Any Snowboard shops near Queens?

I need to get my Son's Snowboard sharpened and waxed. Is there any place in Queens that does that or do I have to go out to Ski stop by exit 48 of the LIE?

Frank is Emilio's still around in Forest Hills? If so they could do it.

Frank, there's a place near me on Northern Blvd called Sundown (just past Glen Cove Road, exit 39 LIE). They probably won't do it while you wait, though, unless they aren't busy, but I know one of the snowboard guys pretty well...

It's a simple thing, they should be able to do it. Also, fyi, a lot of mountains offer "tune up" type services overnight.

My son thought the same thing but he just went and they did not do it, I have no idea where he went but it was a 3-4 ride upstate

He should also pick up some wax so he can wax it himself pretty regularly, the wax doesn't last long (my DS waxes his after almost every day of use).

I had the wax in the garage not even used for about 5 years and I think I just got rid last month. I have to go see if it still there next time I go back there.
