I have a friend that does the play by play. It's $3.50 for a ticket. Lots of off Broadway shows. A fair amount of B'way shows. DW and I saw Legally Blonde for $7.00.
The catch is a $99 annual membership, and you have to pickup the tickets in Shubert Alley 1 hour before the show. Last year they even had Mets tickets.
TDF is the same group that does the TKTS booth in Times Square. I think they will have more options.
