  • Off to Manhattan Club 3rd April

I was just wondering if I should request a particular type of room? I've got a one-bed, 2-bath. Should I ask for an outside room? A high floor? Or is it a waste of time asking and you have to take what you're given?

Any advice gratefully received. I'm going with my two sisters and my younger sister is working on our itinerary we don't want to waste a minute!

If you care about whether or not you get sunlight, there are interior rooms facing the "courtyard," aka brick walls, that are pretty dark. But they are very quiet... outside rooms can be noisy, but most are ok and I haven't heard any real complaints. I always travel with earplugs as I am sensitive.

You can't go wrong there. You can try to ask for something special (large room, high floor, park view), but there are only a few of those, owners get dibs on them, and really, you should be happy with anything there. And you shouldn't be spending time in your room in Manhattan, especially if you are traveling with your sisters!

Thanks Glitter, just starting to get really excited now - don't plan on spending a lot of time in the apartment but I'd really like to impress my sisters - you know, the whole sibling rivalry thing
