Time for TS4Ms meet in NYC area

I presume no one has made reservations yet. I'll call tomorrow for DINNER reservations for 14 at 5pm at Becco's and let you know what I find out.

I found out I'm not back home again! Back home, reservations are lands that Indians live on with their huge casinos.

The earliest reservation I could make at ABecco was for 8:45pm.

Is this a time that works for all? It seems late to me but as you know I am not a New Yorker!


Frank, we first met at an Italian place (Ralph's?) on W 56th & 9th Ave I think.

OK, I looked it up. Ralph's it was! At 862 9th Ave (& W 56th St). Down the street from the Manhattan Club. Ralph's

I made a reservation there also at the original time of 5pm.


So now I have two reservations. Which should I keep? Becco at 8:45pm or Ralph's at 5pm?

I honestly think The Chart house in NJ is best Chart House Restaurant

It'll have to be the 5pm or nothing for us I'm afraid - I think we'll be jet-lagged and if we wait until 2045 we'll probably end up with our heads in the pasta

5 pm at Ralph's works for me......I live two hours from Manhattan so I need to leave by 8 to get home.....many others are also traveling a distance so 5 pm is best.....plus the 'vacation people' can still catch a show.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'm good with whatever. Frank, I loved DestinoNY (which you recommended last time), but I don't think that it would be conducive to a large (potentially noisy) gathering. Chart House is fine -- we have it here on the Left Coast, as well (and in Hawaii), and I've never been to Ralph's, so that's fine, as well.

If it's subway accessible, we don't have to put anyone out to pick us up and drive us. And 8:45 pm is also fine with us, Rick, as we'll still be on California time.

Heck, as I said above, I'm game for anything.
