Going to Ocean Club on Smugglers Beach Yarmouth?

Hi,
I'm going to Ocean Club on Smuggler Beach in Yarmouth in June with 2 seniors. Any suggestions on low impact activities to do with them in the area or the resort? Thanks for any suggestions.

I own at the Ocean Club and visit that area of the Cape many times a year. .....if your seniors are able to climb a flight of stairs, I would recommend a second floor unit to take advantage of the water views. I usually reserve unit 60 or 'higher' (goes up to 70ish) so it can't hurt to call and request. The first floor units also have a view but it is across the parking lot - the upside is you have a nice large patio with picnic table and chairs...on the OTHER side of the unit....

I will post a more detailed list of activities/restaurants later - what kind of activities do your seniors enjoy other then shopping ?

Thanks Pat. It's my Mom 75 and Aunt 85. They enjoy historical sites and museums, botanical gardens, symphony, plays, cruises or boat tours and anything that has natural beauty. They also enjoy arts & crafts. The like to take tours too. (the bus kind that I hate), trolley tours. And they do like shopping but not at the outlet malls. They prefer quaint shops with themes like Christmas shops or Nautical themed shops etc. Appreciate the help.

A couple of ideas

Just a couple of things that might be fun:

Whale watching out of Provincetown. Probable about an hour drive. We do it every summer and love it every time. They might also enjoy some of the smaller shops in Provincetown.

Theater at the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans. Looks like Chicago is playing. Nothing fancy but fun.

Cape Cod Playhouse opens 6/22. Much more professional than the Orleans productions.rht

Can take ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for day too.

Thanks, We'll be there June 1-6 so alot of playhouses seem to start later like the Cape Cod. Unfortunately it looks like we are going to miss the theatre & symphony scene so looking for other things to do.

SailBad posted an extensive list that I saved thinking it might be useful If I could persuade my wife to go to a Cape resort again.

Should be something there for a day or two.
