Rowboats in Central Park
I love feeling like a tourist in my own city. Today, for the first time ever, I went rowing on the lake in Central Park. It was fantastic!! I can't believe I'd never done it before. I highly recommend it for anyone - boat rentals are at the Loeb Boathouse, enter the park at 72nd and 5th, the boathouse is between 74-75th streets, on the east side of the park. It's not well marked, just ask someone. A boat for three people cost about $20 for two hours. We brought a picnic, but there is a restaurant onsite. Life vests are available for kids. The city views from the lake are superb.
