I feel for everyone who came for lunch today. Poor Larry needed to go work out right after lunch. Sorry to spoil all your dinner plans maybe you will be hungry again by morning.
Same here I am stuffed and can't eat anything tonight for dinner. My wife ate alone tonight and I need to go down to the basement and work out on the treadmill and try to burn the 500 calories I consumed during lunch.
I have been trying to lose some weight and I think I gained back the five pounds I lost over the past six weeks, but then again the food and company were all great so I guess it was all worth it, but it's back to yogurt and banana for lunch starting tomorrow.
What a great time. Big Frank was right, as always. The Italian Food in Queens was better than all the places I went to while I was here.
We ate soooooo much. I don't think I'll eat for 3 days. Unbelievable pizza, clams, pasta, wine. Then, cigars and Manhattan Specials. We had a fine 4 hour lunch. Just like it's supposed to be.
I'm coming back and going on an eating tour with Big Frank. I want to go with Hoc so we can talk story about Hawaii and eat our way around the city. No politics, of course.
What a fabulous meal. Now I must go back again and introduce to my family and friends. I was only able to nibble on a few pieces of chicken and rice at my outing this evening. I am still stuffed!
Yes, mussells and clams. Unbelievably great sauce. Made my whole trip. So much so that I need to come back to eat my way around Queens with Big Frank. Hopefully, I won't become Big Jim after doing that.
Lawren took us to get bagels at her favorite place. At that time, I was so full I couldn't look at them. But, we went upstairs to toast them and they were fantastic. I am so glad we got them now. Scallion cream cheese. Mmm, mmm good.
Sadly, we are checking out today. Heading to the US Open and then to New Jersey, the birth place of my two oldest sons.
