Any experience with Snowboarding camps at Mt Hood or Whistler?

DS wants to go to snowboarding camp this summer.. There are a few at Mt Hood, and one at Whistler. He is interested in Whistler since the accommodations are at the mountain rather than a bus ride away, and he likes the description of the program.

Anyone familiar with these programs? Input would be appreciated.

My nephew did several of them at Mt. Hood about six or seven years ago. First year he did Windell's. The for the next two or three years he did High Cascade. Looking back on the time three or four years he said he could not recommend Windell's. He did have praise for HIgh Cascade.

High Cascade operates out of government camp, and so is pretty close to the snow. Windells base is further away - near Welches.

Thanks, Steve, I will ask him about High Cascade; if it's closer to the snow than Windell's, he may be interested. The cost is about the same for High Cascade and the one at the Whistler, now that the US Dollar is so weak...
