  • What would you choose?

I can get a 2br at Jackson Pines, WY for July 2012 or end of August and am tempted to jump on it. I called and the resort to ask questions and he said to do the summer as everything is in full swing. Also he mentioned Towncenter but they are not showing 2012 weeks. Would you take the bird in the hand or see if a bird goes to the bush? Also there are other places I'd like to go to but nothing is showing up yet. EX: Rams Horn Village, or Glacier Nat'l Pk . Those would be strictly summer weeks. Thanks for your input. shaggy

    GNP over GTNP.

Of course from Jackson, you get to roam YNP as well.

GNP to me is AWE inspiring.

Maybe some study of Week Two of this site will help you:

There are many links which might aid in making plans.

Shaggy, take the one available, insure it and look for the other is that is your desire. Either exchange is a difficult one and both are excellent resorts.

Go for Jackson Pines the others are slim or none chance of happening. You can get Estes Park from a WorldMark owner.

Oh. Take the July week not end of August.

Went thru Tetons and YNP in the last days of August. Temps and weather was just right for camping out.
Be careful of lodging in town or close to the street with no A/C in July. You'll have windows open and there might be too much traffic noise.

Went to GNP the first of Sep ... cold nights, but days were just right. Was afraid to go there after mid-September for fear of being snowed out.

              Shaggy,

Oh to have your problems..............(this one anyway!!) You can make an adventure anywhere you go ....... and you always go the most interesting places!! I would grab what's available to you now, and keep dreaming. But that's just me - I'm sure you'll have a great time whenever and wherever!

Shaggy, have you studied Week Two of www.freewebs.com/tripwest/
There are many links included, that I felt might aid travelers in making their plans.

I tried to write it and included photos in hopes of enticing others to see the USA. I hope I sway you with it.

I agree with joycapecod. Get the insurance and you can change later if you see a better deal.

I chose neither- the winner is-------

a 2br at Sanibel in Fla. This wasn't even on my mind, but there it was, a 2br on Kelli's bd 2012!!!! Since I'm going with tug to Austrailia the cost will be much more reasonable. shaggy
