A recent article in the Summit Daily takes a look at what appears to be improving real estate statistics for the area. However, one line jumped out at me..
"Excluding timeshare foreclosures, which doubled from September 2010 to September 2011..."
Summit County includes Breckenridge, Frisco, and Dillon- so I believe there are just over twenty timeshare properties in that area. I've emailed the author to request any specific numbers for the timeshare activity, so I'll share that if I get a response.
While this isn't a trend that is surprising, I'm really interested in discovering what the specific number of timeshare foreclosures is for that area.
Are there any resorts that actually disclose these numbers?
