  • Colorado 5th/6th grade free ski passes

A reminder out there for all Colorado residents with 5th or 6th grade students: Make sure and get your free ski passes for your kids! There are two different programs again this year:

School of Shred for the Vail resorts. This pass is free for 5th & 6th graders, and includes 4 free days of skiing at each of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin (20 free days of skiing).

Colorado Passport for most all other Colorado ski resorts. This is a free pass for 5th graders and provides 3 days of skiing at each of the 20 participating resorts. For 6th graders, it is $99 and provides 4 days of skiing at each of the 20 resorts.

These are great programs to get your kids active in skiing / snowboarding, so don't miss out if you are a Colorado resident!

    Kurt

P.S. I never realized how many ski resorts were here in Colorado until I started using these passes. The full list of resorts that you can ski for free with your kid is:

Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Eldora, Howelson Hill, Loveland, Monarch Mountain, Powderhorn, Purgatory/Durango, Ski Cooper, Snowmass, Ski Granby Ranch (previously Sol Vista Basin), Steamboat, Sunlight, Telluride, Winter Park, and Wolf Creek

    Wow -- that's a lot of skiing!
