I'm starting to look at alternate ski resorts for 2008 since this will be our second year in a row going to Park City. I have been avoiding the big Colorado areas since I would like something a little bit "down to earth," and am afraid of the altitude at Breckenridge as I am very sensitive. If you think I should reconsider, let me know.
I am the only family member not on the slopes, so I like somewhere with quaint shops/cafes/restaurants. I love Park City.
DS14 wants to go to Whistler. The flight is a bitch for us, but I am thinking about it. The canadian/US dollar ratio will help us out there, too. Big is better for us, the kids love the Canyons, and we need a place that can accomodate both the expert kids and their beginning/intermediate Dad..
Looking forward to your thoughts...
