American Skiing Co. has completed its previously announced deal to sell Steamboat Ski Resort to Canada’s Intrawest, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing.
Total proceeds received by the Park City, Utah-based American: $239 million, after adjusting for debt assumed by the buyer and other factors.
American struck a deal to sell Steamboat to Intrawest for $265 million back in December. It said it has paid off much of its debt with the money received from selling its largest ski area holding.
