Fires in Utah?

Any word on exactly WHERE the fires are?

Hi Carole,

The newest huge fire is located along I-15 near the junction with I-70 in central Utah. This is a long way from Salt Lake City, Park City, and the mountain resort areas which are located in the northern part of the state.

The older fire, which killed three people, is located in northeastern Utah. It is much closer to Park City than the newer one, but it is located about 75 miles away and there is absolutely no threat to the main resort areas whatsoever.

While these fires are very unfortunate, they are not impacting the major tourist areas of Northern Utah (except that there is a lot of haze).
