Yellowstone/Jackson Hole with 2 young kids

We are trying to decide if this would be a good year for a trip. We would stay in Jackson Hole and would like to do some Yellowstone activities but we aren't sure what would be good for a 2 & 6 year old? Should we wait a few years? What are some fun things in Jackson Hole to do? We would be there 3 days.

The 6 yo would probably like the shoot out in the square. We lived in the area when our kids were young and we had a kid backpack that my DH carried the younger in and we would hike & fish. They probably wouldn't be too impressed with the scenary but might enjoy seeing the wildlife.
