We are going to Rams Horn Village in Estes Park, CO the middle of September, 2008. We want to spend a day in Denver and have already gotten tickets to tour the mint. We are in our early 60's, but my has had double knee replacement and doesn't do a lot of walking. Any suggestions? It will just be the two of us.

The mint requires very little walking, but it's also pretty tame stuff. If you've ever seen a factory producing any kind of stamped metal product, that's the mint. You know, of course, that it's money--but that's the only difference.

The art museum is a good one. You might consider going to the Molly Brown House. The Western Museum is a good one. Some people enjoy touring Coors Field.

      Molly Brown House

I second the tour of the Molly Brown House. It kind of captures the early period of Denver. We loved it. And we live in Denver :O)
