  • Review of Glacier Wilderness Resort in Montana

Added a review of Glacier Wilderness Resort in Montana from our May '05 trip. I included links to photos on Webshots but will add a couple of the resort itself to the photos section.

    Great review

Ken I enjoyed your review and the pictures! Adding this one to the "list" of places we will have to get to.

    Thanks for sharing.

Wow....the scenery looks breath-taking, and the wild life is amazing. This looks like a wonderful place to really enjoy nature, and get back to the basics.

Thanks for posting, I am glad that you had such a wonderful time.....

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

        Where is the review located?

I was at Glacier last year at the same time as Ken, and I would love to see the photos. However (and I feel rather stupid) I can't figure out where to find posted reviews.

Right now the resort reviews are just tagged on to the resort record in the resort data base as an additional post.
For mine on Glacier Wilderness go here:

and just scroll down to the review.

Ken, I really loved the pics. It reminded me of my stay in the Canadian Rockies. I loved the little chalets. I have to ask, did the coyotes get the moose? I really liked the pic of the lake with the reflection. I'd love love love to go there. Let us know when you get all your pics on the web so we can see them!! If you have any tales to tell you are welcome to share your memories with Shaggy!! Hugs, Leslie

              Shaggy,
No the coyotes did not get the moose. The large female moose at one point hauled off and kicked one of the coyotes in the head and it tumbled several feet. The coyotes then slinked off and the moose rather than run in the other direction followed after them, I guess to make sure they got the message to leave her and her calf alone. Moose seem to be quite well equipped to take care of themselves pretty well.
