I have seen Shotgun Red and he was funny and I have been on the General Jackson but not the two together. We went to all the historic sites. The Civil War site in Franklin was particularly interesting, mostly because the guide was so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic.

What I remember about the Wyndham in Nashville is that I had to get on a chair in order to get dishes out of the cupboard. Yes, I am fairly short 5'2", but my 5'8" friend could not reach them either as you have to reach way across the counter to get to the cupboard. A really stupid design and an accident waiting to happen IMO. That being said, we loved Nashville. We also went to Lynchberg to tour Jack Daniels' and ate at Miss Mary Bobo's. Great lunch there.
