4/25 is my sons 18th birthday and we have a party planed for that weekend, I will not be able to go btw I return from Cancun on 4/24.

About 6 hours. I haven't been to NO since before Katrina and am planning on going sometime.

I haven't been in 20 years. The people I would be going with go to Jazzfest every year and have a blast. It sounds like a 72 hour drinking binge, with good music in the background, to me Won't know for a while if I can get away from the family that weekend, but Stevie Wonder is playing that weekend, and so is Richard Thompson (though I see him at least annually). First weekend is Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, and Robert Plant, though, but no way I can make first weekend.

Don't forget the evening shows, as well as the free sets in various music stores during the 'Daze Between' the two weekends.

Interestingly enough, I'm reading that there are still some TS exchanges available in NOLA for Jazz Fest. If anyone is still considering going, it might be worth checking into.

My schedule looks pretty packed (I am going with Jazzfest die-hards who are handling all the planning; I am exhausted reading the emails), but if you decide to come, drop me a PM so we can exchange #s. Maybe we can meet for a Bloody Mary one morning

It's 5/1-5/4. The fest runs the last w/e in April and the first w/e in May.
