  • Free weeks at Mariner's Point Resort

    Well almost free. $1.00

    If anyone is interested.

Mariner's Point, Crossville, TN. RCI Resort.

In my Mariner's Point Statement of Account that I received yesterday, there was a flyer that reads.

Owners and their friends can acquire a unit week for use at $1 and the maintenance fee and taxes. If the user wants to purchase the unit week, a deed can be prepared and recorded for $75.00.

I am told there are some Red June - July weeks available.

I own a small sleep 2 studio there and it has been a decent trader.
    My 2009 M/F for the studio is $330.00. I believe the M/F for a 1 bedroom is about $415.00.

I get no benefit from this post at all.

I did not get permission from them to post this, but do not think they would mind. Their contact is: Dave and his email is: usc1@volfirst.net

I own a week 32 small studio there and used it to grab a Morritt's Grnad Cayman 1 bedroom february week during the last bulk banking. I've had some excellent trades with my little studio that I bought from Joe several years ago. We've used it for April school vacation at Williamsburg (2 bedroom unit), Sedona at Arroyo Roble for the exact week we needed to be there. I've received A Hilton Head exchange for an Easter weeks a few years ago and all in all have been pleased.

The fees are reasonable considering what fees are now. I get nothing from this either, just hope some good owners will join the resort.

I learned a long time ago, there is nothing "free" about anything associated with Timeshares.

Still this looks like a pretty good deal.

        Cheers
