Spike in foreclosures in 2003 linked to Fairfield Harbour time-shares | foreclosures, harbour, fairfield - Local - Sun Journal

I almost skipped this one, since it seems at first glance to have no real relevance (since the data reported is from 2003)- but I thought it might be interesting to long time owners at this resort.. M. fee records in my system don't go back that far, but you have to wonder what the spike in foreclosures did to the maintenance fees in 2004 & 2005? Did the fees jump significantly, or stay relatively stable?

Perhaps this can be an indication of what will happen in 2011 & 2012..

I heard from a friend in the industry that the fees did increase. Probably due to the increase in foreclosures.
