  • New Ferris Wheel coming to downtown Myrtle Beach..

Hotel makes way for Ferris wheel in Myrtle Beach - Local - TheSunNews.com

The Golden Villa hotel is being demolished, and a 187-foot tall ferris wheel will be built there. They may be a little cheesy- but I simply love ferris wheels!

Probably paid for in Lieu of the tourist taxes taken from Timeshare Owners

Now they have videos with lots of annoying jump cuts. Looks terrifying.

My parents went to the one in London and thought it was pretty cool, though. My eldest son kind of wants to do this during the day; I want to go down at night and take pictures of the lights reflected on the SeaGlass BG resort. Not going to do it unless parking is easy.

Eldest son has wanted to stay in the SeaGlass and we figured on sending him there for his honeymoon, but now I'm wondering what it's like having that light show outside every night! I kind of liked the one you could see from Orlando Sunshine but it wasn't as big and the unit mostly faced away from it; some of the side units at SeaGlass face that thing pretty much straight on, and I'm not sure what kind of window coverings they have, if any. Could be interesting.
