Has anyone been able to grab or see a Charleston timeshare on RCI lately?

Charleston has always been a hard trade on RCI. Bootleg used to comment on that when he was here and on other forums (for newcomers, Bootleg was a very helpful RCI employee who frequented these sites unofficially). Unfortunately, the new RCI gives more points in some instances to some overbuilt areas of which there is always a glut of supply on RCI, so I susupect that thinking Charleston owners will probably be less likely to give their weeks to RCI.
The Isle of Palms resort is IMHO the best resort for Charleson. While just average as to facitilies, it is right on the best and an easy drive into the old city.

A year ago this month there was a mini-bulk for Lodge Alley Inn for Jan-Mar2013. That was an aberation. I had never seen anything like that before and probably never will again.
I honestly can't say the last time I saw Church Street Inn it's been many years.
If you want Charleston you are better off renting from a Bluegreen owner. Try and nail it down at the 11 month mark as the property is small and books up pretty quickly.
FWIW this is the only BG property that allows one night stays.Lawren
