Was there once but there was way too much noise! Kids screaming and loud cars and cycles. It goes on all weekend nights! No sleep. Need to stay out a ways from the drag.

Good to meet another "shagger". We live in Charlotte, NC.,so we are North Carolina neighbors. We have our 51st Wedding Anniversary next Sunday, so we have been at this shagging for a long time.

LOL, the LAST thing I would want at a beach location is a boardwalk with rides!

Pat, the lovely thing about MB is that you can be away from all of the crazy boardwalk type stuff and on a lovely quiet beach, but opt for that sort of thing if you choose. We stay on the north end of MB (as opposed to N. Myrtle Beach, which is the adjacent town) and it is quiet, with LOVELY beaches, nice restaurants..convenient to shopping and dining. We have never gone to the boardwalk area (farther south), but probably will when our little one gets bigger and starts craving the excitement! I highly recommend a visit!
