Celebrity sighting on Tybee Island, GA

My teen daughter would never forgive me if I didn't mention this.. Miley Cyrus jumped on stage for a few songs with the house performer at StingRays in Tybee Island. Evidently she's filming a movie in the area and got the performance bug while eating dinner.

Tybee is a gorgeous little laid-back island just a few miles from Savannah and Hilton Head. Tybrisa Beach Resort is the only timeshare there (summer weeks there are hard to find, similar to other niche resort such as Waters Edge in CT and Summer Place in DE).. It's a very quiet spot, a lighthouse and civil war forts to explore- but only about 30 minutes to Savannah if you want to feel like a tourist.

What a neat treat! I know you & your daughter was just thrilled. My Kelli is just like your daughter , she gets sooo excited seeing a celebrity, esp if it's not planned.

Just told Kelli, she just grinned, said boy, bet she was happy. She wants to know if you got to meet her and get an autograph. I promise you Kelli would have.

I love a good celebrity sighting! I hear Nick Jonas was there with her, too. They've "reconnected." I just read it on People.com.
