We have had a condo out on one of the barrier islands for many years. Always enjoy a trip into town any time we are there.

            Cheers

              Charleston in the fall

We have been to Charleston in the spring time. Beautiful flowers at the plantations and spring walk/tours of the homes was a highlight during our visit. Now we are looking into the a trip to Charleston in the fall time of the year with my in-laws who are in the early 80's. What would we expect to see for fall colors in the coastal city? Are there fall festivals that take place or would you recommend a late November trip for the Christmas decorations? We have not decided yet- looking for ideas. Also, are there scooters for rent for those who cannot walk far- if anybody knows I would really appriciate the insight.
