Myrtle Beach Thanksgiving Restaurant Recommendations

We are heading down to Myrtle beach the week of Thanksgiving and looking for a recommendation for Thanksgiving dinner. We usually go down to the outer banks and know which restaurants to visit during the off season. It was my wife’s request to head down to Myrtle beach this year. It’s a memory thing from her childhood. I want to make this a special trip for her.

We will be staying at the Jade Tree Cove.

Doug, I'm not sure about a restaurants with traditional Turkey day food, but I will recommend you take your wife to the Sea Captains House for a memorable dinner. Let us know how you like the Jade Tree Resort. It is older but I think well maintaned. shaggy

Thank you for the fast reply. We certainly will try the Sea Captains House restaurant. I was looking online and Sea Captains looks to have a following of loyal customers who keep coming back. You have to be doing something right to stay in business for 25+ years.

I will let you know about the Shade Tree. We picked it after reading someTug reviews and the fact that it is located on the beach and near Kingdoms Plantation (Place where my wife would come).

Love the beach and the off season and looking forward to our visit during Thanksgiving week. Our home timeshare resort is at the outer banks in July. Tons of people at that time.

Sea Captain's House is also our #1 fave. They may not take reservations, best to get there early.

#2 is Chestnut Hill, which is on Restaurant Row - it's very quiet (which can be a relief in MB), and sort of elegant with a pretty water view, but not expensive comparatively.
