  • Santa Fe Suites, $58/night

My ex travels to Santa Fe somewhat frequently, has been really happy with this place -- all units have full kitchens. Rates from the hotel itself start around $79/night but they've found it on discount sites - they are paying $58/night for the first week in May - Queen studio w/full kitchen, free Wifi and continental bkfst...

I canceled the t/s search I had going for them -- it doesn't pay!!

Thanks, I have saved this for future use.

Thanks for this tip. It's always nice to find another reasonably priced place to stay in Santa Fe. We've stayed at the El Rey Inn before, but it looks like the rates may be better here.

However, if you can get a timeshare trade, and you're staying for the week, I still think that would beat out any hotel/motel.

At $58/night for a studio with full kitchen/free wifi/free bkfst, I'm not sure I'd give up a good trader for a timeshare if it was just two of us, even for a week... but to Frank's (and I think your) point, what's the point of owning t/s if we don't use them...

Since I've usually found it difficult to snag a week in Santa Fe when we've needed them (this year being the exception) this is a real find. But at $58/night for one week (and this was just a one bedroom right?), using the timeshare trade was a plus for us. Also, I wasn't using a particularly great trader (in my mind) to get it.

I think it's fair to say that nothing beats snagging a 1 bedroom in Santa Fe with a mediocre trader over Thanksgiving, which would have undoubtedly cost more than $58/night at this place regardless...
