The JC is in such a pitiful location now as it is surrounded by the other resort. We walked thru the "entry" and into the JC, and it had a feeling of being inside a tomb. I wouldn't want to stay there nor own there. It cannot be a fun place.
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

The plus side of JC have always been its location on the strip.

The location is actually great -- literally right on the strip, next to the newest resort on the strip. You cannot get a timeshare that is closer to the strip in Vegas. The views are nothing to speak of, but having access to the Cosmopolitan resort's pool is a big plus. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay in Vegas, this is still a decent property.

Yes, it is located on the strip, and I guess I was in error when I said "location" in such a way. However, how the resort is "situated" is still depressing and dark, dreary and just plain uninviting.

For strip location, great, for ambience, awful.

I would rather stay at Polo or Marriott, both easy locations to strip access.

Completely agree. Not only will JC owners be able to use Cosmo pool, casino and restaurants there will be dedicated bank of elevators inside Cosmo which will allow JC owners and exchange guests to enter from dedicated parking spots in underground garage at Cosmo straight up to JC reception.

The current alley way entry is just temporary until Cosmo is completed. Once Cosmo is done JC owners will be able to enter Cosmo and go straight into elevators for JC. Without a doubt this will be the best strip location for any Vegas timeshare with added amenities of a first class resort. Inside although JC has some rooms with Bellagio fountain and hotel views most rooms will not have views, but who spends much time in their room in Vegas.

I have stayed at JC and although rooms are not luxurious they are very comfortable, clean and have ample room in the 1BR with full kitchen and LR but this will be all about location, location plus added amenities of Cosmo.

I will be looking forward to my next stay at JC sometime after Cosmo is open.

Funny how something like this can breathe new life into a resort.. If everything completes as described, I also expect that Jockey Club demand will increase for both sales and rentals. That is a rare event in today's market!
