Mini report on my AZ trip!

Just got back from a week plus few days out in AZ,

Visited Scottsdale Four Seasons Troon, Sedona (Ridge), and flopped for a day at a Fairfield near the airport in Phoenix.

Finally got to see the Big Canyon. WOW that was amazing.

Also got to see much wildlife. Hummingbirds, Snakes, Scorpion in my timeshare unit, and a herd of Elk.

Visited Jerome, and did the Verde Canyon Railroad as well.

The scorpion was sitting on the floor of the washer/dryer closet as I was putting clothes in the washer. I stopped dead in my tracks! It just sat still. Did not know if it was dead or alive. After I swept it out with a broom the tail curled up, and I knew it was alive!

Overall we had a blast since we clocked over 1600 miles on the car.

I have heard that Troon is fabulous.....and the Grand Canyon, what can I say, you have to see it to believe it.

Next time you are in AZ, plan on hiking to Havasupai in the Grand Canyon. It is an experience that can't even be described. Most amazing waterfalls in the world! When you are there, it feels ilke you are in the tropics!

We have lots of scorpions at one of our homes .

Well, not lots, really.

Out friends, the ones we met OY who bought a place across the lake, named their place Scorpion Hill.
