I am guessing that you have a reason for going that time of year, since the date is so important. You do realize that it is the middle of winter here, too, right? It probably won't be snowing (it does on rare occasions, although not in the resort corridor), but it could be very cold. Not New York ice and snow cold, but cold and very windy. Or not. But if its windy, look out!
We'll have to get together. I'm looking forward to it!

I am not lying. I was there the day they broke a record some 20 years back. it really hit 129 degrees. It was so hot that my shoes started melting crossing the street. When we were up on the roof pool you could not walk bare foot even if it was just to jump in the pool from the chair.
